"Ike Skelton Training Site." It's where I work.

Three pounds is less than 2% of my total bodyweight... so I could have that much difference just depending on what time of day I weigh myself--just out of bed, or after a day of eating?

:p

:P !!!!!

I don't even own a scale... It is better that way.

I agree, it is. Unfortunately, the Army doesn't see it that way...

Are you required to be a certain weight? I mean, I can understand being in the military, that you can't be overweight... but you aren't, are you?

Hub is a cable guy (don't know if you knew that) and cable guys can't weigh too much because they have to climb latters and crawl in crawl spaces and attics. Yet they still hire guys who weigh too much ... then the littler guys (my Hub weighs 165) have to do some of their work for them!! >:/

The maximum allowable weight for my height and age in the Army is 187 pounds. I weight 211.
If you are over the set weight, the Army will do a bodyfat test... but it is a very inaccurate one, measuring waist and neck ratios. I have a very skinny neck (especially for someone who used to be a wrestler!), and have trouble passing the test. So it's will be easier for me--especially while in OCS--to just lose some more weight...
Besides, I may finally get that "six pack" again... :)
